Creditas Reports Record Revenue and Historic Financial Performance in Q3-24
Q3-24 marked Creditas' highest financial performance to date. Among the highlights, a record in quarterly revenue, reaching R$517.4 million, positively impacted by the repricing of the portfolio, initiated back in 2022, and an increase in the origination volume.
Gross profit also reached a historic high of R$237.4 million, with margin of 45.9%, above the 40-45% range expected two years ago, reinforcing the results of the strategic changes implemented in recent years, such as the adjustment in the financing structure of loans.
We also continued to accelerate growth, reaching an origination volume of R$815.4 million (+17.4% vs Q2-24 and 49.3% compared to Q3-23), which contributed to a 2.5% expansion in the portfolio, reaching R$5.8 billion.
The negative operating result of R$7mn falls within our target range of profitability and is impacted by our significant investments in portfolio growth, due to the recognition of acquisition costs at the time of origination, as well as IFRS upfront provisioning. The company has maintained a positive cash flow since the end of 2023, allowing it to finance its growth without the need for external capital.
